September 20th, 2006 - For the Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini have prepared the Nera or 'Black' edition to showcase what their new personalization program can do. Reserved for fully loaded 2007 Lamborghini Gallardos, this is really a just a styling option that leaves us begging for more performance.
Available in two colors, Serapis and Noctis, the Nero features unusual matte sections on select areas of the body. It's hard to tell how effectively the matte portions of paint the really suit the car, and the final effect will no doubt be more striking in person.
Other details, such as the silver brake calipers, clear side indicators lenses and darkened tail lights complement the new paintjob.
The interior is done in a high contrast white on black combination with leather accents for the control panels, handbrake, gearlever, glove box. Additional details include two-tone seats with piping and hatching, as well as a new steering wheel with a bottom inset.
Built in a limited edition of 185 units, orders are likely going to be taken at the Paris Motor Show.
